Werewolf on Abduction?

The famous werewolf of the "Twilight" film series, Taylor Lautner, best known as Jacob launches his solo career on producing his own film, the thriller  "Abduction" which will be due in theaters on Friday. Lautner here will play the role of a teenger named Nathan who's pursued by the FBI and  killer assassins after discovering the truth behind his entire life living in lies. Now, Nathan must survive to puzzle the truth of his life.

If you seen Lautner in the "Twilight" film series more often shirtless, this time will give you a new twist of Lautner. He will do more physically challenging stunts and less on showing off those six-packs.

Now, Lautner has wrapped up filming the "Twilight Saga" and for their upcoming book four "Breaking Dawn First Part" which will be release this November.  So bad that we will surely miss those shirtless moments because Lautner is finished shooting "The Twilight Saga" for good. If you still want to catch a moment of shirtless Lautner watch out "Abduction". There's still a moment where a necessary shirtless makes sense.

During her freshman year in high school, Mika Tahara (Yui Aragaki) loses her cellular phone, but later finds it in the school library with the help of an unknown caller. Throughout the summer, Mika and the mysterious caller continue to communicate, and agree to meet each other once school starts again. The caller turns out to be Hiro (Haruma Miura), a delinquent-like boy Mika is initially afraid of, who shows proof of his identity as the caller with a photo of the sky on his cellular phone.
From her friends and through her first sexual encounter with Hiro, Mika learns that he had a girlfriend named Saki (Asami Usuda). Although Hiro reassures her that he broke up with her, Saki, who still is in love with Hiro, holds a vendetta against Mika and hires a group of men to rape her. The horrific encounter ends with Hiro and his older sister Minako (Karina) punishing both the men and Saki, but not long after, someone writes a provocative message on all of the school chalkboards with Mika's name and phone number. Hiro continues to protect Mika from all of the bullying advances, but she assures him that she's not frightened anymore from being with him.
Mika later becomes pregnant after she and Hiro consummate in the school library. Hiro is thrilled by the news and both of them gain Hiro's parents' permission to raise the child together, although Mika's parents disapprove of the action. Despite this, Mika is determined to have the baby until the birth becomes a miscarriage due to the physical trauma received when Saki pushed her down a flight of stairs. Despaired, Mika and Hiro build a grave for their baby and promise each other to come visit the memorial on the day of the baby's death yearly.
Shortly after their second year in high school begins, Hiro begins to distance himself from Mika and breaks up with her. Although hurt, Mika meets a college student named Yū (Keisuke Koide) at a gōkon, who becomes sympathetic to her situation. The two date, and Yū even prevents Mika's parents from divorcing. On the day of the baby's death, Mika finds Hiro visiting the grave as per their promise. The next year, she continues to move on from Hiro; however, on the day of the baby's death, Mika finds Nozomu (Aoi Nakamura) at the grave. Nozomu reveals the truth about Hiro's sickly situation, and that he was asked by Hiro himself to watch over Mika.
Mika breaks up with Yū and finds Hiro, diagnosed with cancer, awaiting death at the hospital. Upset that he pretended he didn't love her only to ensure she would have a happy future, she insists that only he can make her happy. Hiro eventually gives into his feelings and gets back together with her. Mika begins to visit the hospital daily, even taking an academic leave, to take care of Hiro, who slowly begins to show signs of recovery. Hiro's resolve to live becomes stronger until he dies during a check-up. Mika is saddened by Hiro's death and tries to commit suicide, but is stopped by a flock of birds flying towards her. She takes this as a sign of Hiro, in the sky, discouraging her from killing herself, and realizes through this and Hiro's journal that he would have wanted her to continue to live. Seven years later, she reflects on how her life had changed upon meeting Hiro, and that she is living happily with him and their baby in mind.

Bad Teacher

don't know why this movie gets me interested when me & my friends trying to select a movie to watch. It might be because i will be a teacher in near future but actually it's more on the curiosity side how the term "BAD" will be connotated in the movie.

many scenes were so ironically & drastically presented. things that quite exaggeratedly acted but made it to the point to show what is really happening inside the classroom. Such a good concept. A good refresher from heavy complicated and twisted plotted films.

Cameron Diaz is so amazing acting the role of  Elizabeth Halsey, the bad teacher.

A comedy centered around a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague -- a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher.

Director:

Jake Kasdan

TANGLED

Tangled (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo)recently, my kids were tied to their sits and sometimes never flick an eye. they were watching the newly download movie "TANGLED" from my younger sister. Tangled is an animated movie based and modfified version of the children's story Rapunzel by Brothers Grimm. The voices used for the main character from the movie who are Rapunzel & Flynn Rider are of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi.

the movie is funny and fun. even me is enjoying watching it. i love the part where the intelligent palace's horse named Maximus run after the handsome theif Flynn Rider who stole the lost princess's crown from the palace. it is funny because the horse is acting like a dog. it animates the dog's action like tracking his hated foe (Flynn Rider) using his nose and the way it wiggles his tail. Addition to his character is that it has an attitude. my kids are laughing out everytime Maximus appears in the screen.

the songs played in the movie, i love it all.

The Plot

Gothel, an elderly woman, witnesses a single drop of pure sunlight hit the ground. From the single drop it grows a magical flower with the ability to heal the sick and injured. She uses it to keep herself young by singing an incantation to it. Hundreds of years later, the queen of a nearby kingdom falls ill while pregnant. Her guards, searching for a cure, find the mysterious flower. They make a broth out of the flower, which heals the queen. The queen gives birth to a babygirl named Rapunzel and the baby inherit the power of the golden flower through her golden hair. Gothel learns that Rapunzel's golden hair retains the flower's healing abilities, but if it's cut, it turns brown and loses its magic power. Gothel kidnaps the child and isolates her in a tower in the middle of the forest, raising the girl as her own daughter. However, every year on Rapunzel's birthday, the kingdom sends thousands of sky lanterns into the sky longing for their lost princess to return.

Eighteen years later, Rapunzel lives in the tower with her pet chameleon, Pascal. While happy to be safe in her tower, she yearns to see the outside world, and more importantly, the floating lights. Rapunzel asks Gothel to let her see the floating lights on her birthday, but Gothel denies her request, saying the world is full of people who would covet her abilities for themselves. Meanwhile, thieves led by Flynn Rider steal the tiara of the missing princess from the castle. Flynn abandons his accomplices and stumbles upon Rapunzel's tower, choosing it as a hideout. During the chase, the lead guard's horse, Maximus, is separated from his rider and continues the search for Flynn on his own. Once inside the tower, Flynn is knocked unconscious by Rapunzel, who then imprisons him in her wardrobe and hides his satchel.

Rapunzel tried to tell Gothel that she was able to take care of herself and show her Flynn, but Gothel refuses to listen. Frustrated, Rapunzel says that she wants a special paint for her birthday instead of her earlier request. Gothel agrees, and after she leaves, Rapunzel makes a deal with Flynn — if he escorts her to the lights and back, she will return the tiara. While Rapunzel is excited to be free, she is soon conflicted between her freedom and her guilt of disobedience. While traveling, the two visit the Snuggly Duckling Tavern, which appears to be full of thugs like Gothel warned Rapunzel about, but they all each have their own dreams, just as Rapunzel does.

As the royal guards continue their search, Gothel learns of the pursuit, returns to the tower and finds Rapunzel gone. The tavern regulars help the pair escape from the guards, but they eventually corner Flynn at a man-made dam, which Maximus inadvertently causes to collapse. Trapped in a flooding cave, Flynn cuts his hand while trying to save them. Thinking they are going to die, Flynn tells Rapunzel that someone should know his real name is Eugene Fitzherbert, and Rapunzel tells Flynn she has magic hair that glows when she sings. She starts singing and her hair allows them to find a way to escape. Later around a campfire, Rapunzel heals Flynn's cut, telling him the reason she never tried to escape her tower and Flynn tells her his reason for becoming a thief. Flynn goes off to gather more firewood, but while he's gone, Gothel secretly meets with Rapunzel. Rapunzel tells Gothel she has feelings for Flynn, and thinks he may feel the same about her. Gothel tells Rapunzel that Flynn is only after the tiara, claiming that he will leave once he has it. Giving her the satchel, she tells Rapunzel to put him to the test before leaving.

The next morning, Maximus confronts Flynn again, but Rapunzel befriends the horse and convinces him not to turn in Flynn yet. The group travels together to the royal kingdom and spend the day celebrating the Lantern Festival wit the rest of the townsfolk. Here, Rapunzel learns about the lost princess for the first time. That night, Rapunzel and Flynn watch the lanterns rise from a boat on a lake. Flynn gives Rapunzel a lantern for her to release and in return she gives him his satchel back. Flynn pushes the satchel aside and attempts to kiss Rapunzel, but sees his former accomplices on the shore. Flynn gives them the tiara, but the pair are now working with Gothel. They knock out Flynn and make it appear that he is escaping with the tiara by tying him up in a boat and sailing him across the lake. They reveal Flynn's "betrayal" to Rapunzel before they try to kidnap her so they could sell her hair's power. Betraying the thieves, Gothel "rescues" the heartbroken Rapunzel and takes her back to the tower. Meanwhile, Flynn wakes up but is caught by the guards. Maximus sees Flynn's arrest and overhears him saying that Rapunzel is in danger. Flynn is sentenced to be hanged and learns of the treachery from the now-captured henchmen. Maximus, however, rounds up The Snuggly Duckling regulars and they rescue Flynn. Together they ride to the tower.

Meanwhile, Rapunzel realizes that she is the long-lost princess, and confronts Gothel with the revelation, saying she will never let her use her hair again. Flynn reaches the tower, but upon entering, he sees Rapunzel bound and gagged and is stabbed by Gothel. She attempts to take Rapunzel away to a new hiding place, but Rapunzel promises to keep fighting her unless she allows her to heal Flynn. Gothel agrees, but Flynn, saying that he would rather die than have her trapped forever, cuts her hair short with a piece of broken mirror. The healing power is gone and as a result, Gothel rapidly begins to age. While covering her face, she trips on the cut hair and falls from the tower. She disintegrates before reaching the ground. Flynn and Rapunzel reveal their love for each other, before he dies. Heartbroken, Rapunzel sobs the last word of the healing incantation over his body. A tear containing the last of Rapunzel's healing powers lands on his cheek and revives him. Overjoyed, they share their first kiss. The royal family has a tearful reunion, the king and queen pulling Flynn into their embrace. Flynn After a celebration of Rapunzel's return, Flynn (the narrator throughout the movie) reveals that some years later he and Rapunzel are married, the pub thugs fulfill their individual dreams, and Maximus becomes a respected official on the Royal Guard.

Scent of a Woman

I can’t remember anymore when was my last time watching a movie in theater. Since I recently fully watching ongoing anime series online, I suddenly feel exhausted of weird colour hair, eyes like of a cat and hearing the same animated voices. It seems all the anime characters were wearing the same face. I could not differentiate them anymore from one to another. There was a time I am suddenly confused and puzzled. Is this the total effect of watching anime series? Hahaha. I think my brain, no, not my brain only but my senses really need to rest for awhile from anime series.

Ike, my husband, has been watching Al Pacino’s movies all over again and again. From aged movies (mostly been a hit in years I am not yet born or yet formed) up to the present. He’s a big fan. I can assure because I’m the very witness. Among Al Pacino’s movies, one of my favorites is “Scent of a Woman” where Al here plays the role of a blind retired colonel. See? Even I is influenced with his fandom. Well, I admit that Al Pacino is a timeless actor because up to the present his acting skill still remains great. I’m bowing to his talent. Not that I’m only amazed by his acting skill but the story line in this movie is deeply grasping my heart. It could really squeezed tears from my eyes.

Here's my favorite scene from the movie:

Aside from this scene, another thing that i like in this movie are the quotable quotes which I'm sure many will agree and lines that were delivered marvelously by Al Pacino. Example for this is the favorite line of my husband,"Flowers from the brook". Find out more about this movie and if given a chance to watch it, grab it for i know it's a catch and a real for keep.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama: Another Cinderella Story

I have watched the first four episodes. To my dismay, the third and fourth were have no subtitles.I am just reading the moving pictures which looks like conveying an interesting story. And because of this, I am very disappointed. By any means, I have to look for the continuing episodes.
I really hate the feeling of being left hanged. It's like my slice of chocolate cake spilled out after i had taken a bite. I was so irritated that i need to watch the next episodes. I am really caught with the plot and of course the characters. It's like another Cinderella story but definitely not the one who is always stooped down by anyone. Misa-chan, the lady main character is a misandrist. Because of family reason, she went to school consisting 80% males due to low tuition fee. She became the first female president of the school's student council. As female President, she's powerful to rule over the males academically and even in extra-curricular activities.. Her main goal is to make the school more inviting to female students.

Usui Takumi is Misa-chan's real match. He's the only guy who can dominated her. He is very mysterious to all. Known as a heart breaker and excels in any field. The typical heartthrob. He looks like he doesn't care to anyone but will do anything to protect Misa-chan.

I love it's comedy romance theme. So mild to fall in love. I am much crazy with this kind of theme rather than those of heavy drama and love lines. I hate very obvious move or touch to show the "LOVE". I hate the very predictable one. What I am opt to are unique yet simple action surprises. Hope i may able to finish viewing the whole episodes. IF i have a down-loader, I probably download it rather waiting hours to fully watch an episode online. Grrrr....

The Delinquent and The Palmtop-tiger

Recently, I’ve started making myself suffered. I tolerate pain. I sacrifice my meals. I lessen the hours of my precious sleep. Whenever there is a chance, I grab it. Never let it pass. It’s like I am spell-bounded. I can resist the power that urged me to watch Toradora.

Who will not be lured by this anime series? They’ve got the lovable pair I’ve ever encounter. If you think they are the typical couple that you’ve always seen, sorry to disappoint you, but Ryuuji and Taiga are totally extraordinary. Try watch this anime series and I’m sure it will refreshen and captivates your taste.

Ryuuji Takasu is tall and well known to their school “Oohashi” because of his weird eye expression. He has this fiercely eyes that always misjudged by people and they called him “The Delinquent”. Behind this pair of killer’s eyes is a very soft heart. He is an ecologist. His greatest enemy are molds and wants everything is clean. He has a crush on Kushieda.

Taiga Aisaka is the total opposite of Ryuuji. She is small like a doll, rich and having the child-like body. A lazy brat, that never concerns around her surroundings. Everybody is afraid of her. She’s short-tempered so don’t mess around her co’z if you do, for sure you will be beaten up. Her height doesn’t speak to her strength, that’s the reason why they call her “The Palmtop-tiger”. Aisaka falls in love with Kitamura.

Kitamura Yuusaku is the vice-president of the student council of the school. He is Ryuuji’s bestfriend.

Kushieda Minori-dono is Taiga’s bestfriend. She is very enthusiastic, optimistic and a fully loaded job part timer.

Kawashima Ami is a childhood friend of Kitamura. She’s a famous model in magazines. She is a very pretentious transferre but highly regards of its maturity. She's the campus crush.

Because of one mistakable incident, the two opposites joined forces to help each other in making plans on how to be get near and confess their feelings to their beloved. It's very interesting how these two deal with each other, not only their selves but also the people around them.I have not finished watching this series and I'm looking forward for more lovable moments with Taiga and Ryuuji.

The Adventure Is "UP" There!

"The adventure is out there!"
"The Wilderness must be Explored!"
Do the lines seem familiar to you? I’m sure for those who have watched it, knows very well who and what movie these lines were said. It’s a movie that touches every emotion of its viewers, hilarious but definitely could tickle your heart. An animated film from the makers of Monsters, INC.,Cars and Finding Nemo; "UP" is not like any animated film in which mostly the main characters are animals, monsters, aliens and toys. (Well, you can’t get away having these kinds of characters.) This movie is more about the adventure of a rarely character of Mr. Carl Fredricksen.
Up (Single Disc Widescreen)

Carl Fredricksen is a retired balloon seller. His dream with his wife, Ellie, is to build their house on top of a plateau and beneath the waterfall. This impossible place is called the “Paradise Falls, a land lost in time”. This Paradise Falls, where it could only be found in South America is considered a Lost World by an explorer Charles Muntz, who discovered the place.

Carl and Ellie live a simple but happy life. Even though they are not blessed to have a child, they remain happy with each other. When Ellie passed away, Mr. Carl Fredicksen never gave up pursuing their dream to go to Paradise Falls. You could not imagine how this grumpy old man, Carl Fredicksen, genuinely created an idea on how to go to Paradise Falls.

Another character to be considered is Russell, a Wilderness Explorer. He is missing one badge to be a senior wilderness explorer. This badge is the assisting the elderly badge. In order to have the badge, he needs to help Mr. Carlson in any way.

For those who are fond of animated films, this movie is such a catch. Very child friendly and absolutely not for kids only.^-^
