The Adventure Is "UP" There!

"The adventure is out there!"
"The Wilderness must be Explored!"
Do the lines seem familiar to you? I’m sure for those who have watched it, knows very well who and what movie these lines were said. It’s a movie that touches every emotion of its viewers, hilarious but definitely could tickle your heart. An animated film from the makers of Monsters, INC.,Cars and Finding Nemo; "UP" is not like any animated film in which mostly the main characters are animals, monsters, aliens and toys. (Well, you can’t get away having these kinds of characters.) This movie is more about the adventure of a rarely character of Mr. Carl Fredricksen.
Up (Single Disc Widescreen)

Carl Fredricksen is a retired balloon seller. His dream with his wife, Ellie, is to build their house on top of a plateau and beneath the waterfall. This impossible place is called the “Paradise Falls, a land lost in time”. This Paradise Falls, where it could only be found in South America is considered a Lost World by an explorer Charles Muntz, who discovered the place.

Carl and Ellie live a simple but happy life. Even though they are not blessed to have a child, they remain happy with each other. When Ellie passed away, Mr. Carl Fredicksen never gave up pursuing their dream to go to Paradise Falls. You could not imagine how this grumpy old man, Carl Fredicksen, genuinely created an idea on how to go to Paradise Falls.

Another character to be considered is Russell, a Wilderness Explorer. He is missing one badge to be a senior wilderness explorer. This badge is the assisting the elderly badge. In order to have the badge, he needs to help Mr. Carlson in any way.

For those who are fond of animated films, this movie is such a catch. Very child friendly and absolutely not for kids only.^-^
